Avesil diet pill Review

Is Avesil a free trial scam?

avesilAvesil diet pill is a fat burning weight loss pill that has got some popularity due its free trail offer. But if one knows few facts on Avesil, they would never go for it.

Let’s get into details of Avesil pills before judging its genuineness.
Avesil Ingredients:

  • ChromeMate (Chromium polynicotinate) – Can increase metabolism to some (subtle) extent
  • Citrimax (Garcinia cambogia fruit extract) – No clinical proof available on its effectiveness as appetite suppressant and weight loss aid.
  • Green tea extract – Suppresses appetite and increases metabolism (as it has caffeine). But no information is given on the quality of green tea used (standardized or not) while making Avesil pills.
  • Caffeine – might make you feel jittery.

Avesil side effects:

Most of the fat burner diet pills are not free from side effects, and so is Avesil.

  • The suggested dosage is 6 capsules every day. But taking more Chromium polynicotinate might cause kidney failure, liver dysfunction, anemia, renal failure, and blood abnormalities if used for a long term.
  • In this pill has both green tea and caffeine and even dosage is more. This might cause diarrhea, copious urination and you might get addicted to it if taken for a long time.

Though it has good ingredients like green tea, the amount and quality of it is not enough to aid weight loss. Caffeine might make more harm than better. So this is not a Great diet pill, there are many better diet pills on the market.

Avesil Free Trial Scam – Avesil costs $90 per month!

This another diet pill free trial scam with fraudulent billing using “auto-shipment” program with automatic billing.

The 14 day Free Trial of Avesil is not free. They collect you credit card information when you pay shipping charges for the free trial, 14th day they charge $90 on your credit card. Though they say you can cancel it in 14 days, the used portion of pills must reach back to them within 14 days of placing order. You get hardly 3-5 days to use the product and to cancel order, you may not be able to contact them or might not get proper reply.
This is how they your money (Users say so in online forums)

If you fail to cancel (like others) you will be billed every month till you cancel it.

Avesil is very costly :

One month’s supply (180 pills) costs $90 plus shipping charges!
With no weight loss or refund guarantee!

Conclusion and Recommendation:

If you are looking for a proven weight loss pill with no side effects , never go for Avesil and get scammed. You have 10’s of better options.

You can go for any of the following top rated side effects free but reasonably priced diet pills. (Both have 6 months money back guarantee)

  1. Proactol – Clinically proven Fat binder – Discount E-voucher available here
  2. Unique Hoodia – Genuine Hoodia pill – costs $35 per month

Stay far away from AVESIL!!!!!!!! The 14 day trial period is a scam!!!! I notified the company a week before my trial period expired and the representative told me to just discard the rest of the product and NOT send it back. Avesil STILL charged my credit card!!! I called the company again and was basically called a liar by Agent #27, Kelsey. He told me that I never called the company and that it was all my fault. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!

  • kaitlyn says:

its a mistake by me of agreeing the trial of 14days. But before trial end ,AVESIL already deducted my money for the next shipment, where by now i did not receive any of it. Please people dont buy from them, they are bogus! Or you can try buy from them if you don’t believe.

  • Chel says:

This product is indeed a scam. They must pay people to write all the great reviews all over that you see because let me tell you this has been a nightmare.

    1. I applied for the product on 3/26/2010
    2. I didn’t receive it till 4/01/2010
    3. The ’14 day free trial’ ended on 4/09/2010

This obviously is not a lot of time to try the product and supposedly send it back.. but anyway.

    4. By 04/07/2010 I had GAINED 3 pounds.
    5. I started calling to get the *RMA Code 4/7
    6. No one answered. Left message.
    7. Called back 6 times on the 7th. No answer.
    8. Called back on the 8th.. see above.
    9. Called back on the 9th.. see above.
    10. The 9th passes and now I am ‘outside my trial period’ so I am out $90.

I am still trying to get someone on the phone to take this useless crap back. No one has yet called me back nor answered their phone. Do not be scammed! And if you feel sorry for me, feel free to toss me $3 via paypal at chelworks@gmail.com for saving you $90 :) Maybe I can get my money back heh.

*Code you have to get from them and put on your package to send it back.

You’ll notice on Avesil’s website that there is no option of simply buying a bottle of their diet pills. The only option that they give you is to accept your “free trial” where you only pay shipping and handling and you get a 30 day supply of Avesil. Well, what the vast majority of people aren’t going to see is the fine print in their “terms and conditions.” I’ve copied part of their terms and conditions below.

“Start your RISK-FREE Trial today and we will send you a full 30-day supply of Avesil. Just pay $5.95 in shipping and processing. You will have 14 days to try Avesil and discover why it is the perfect Weight-Control Formula for you. If you are satisfied with Avesil, do nothing – at the end of your free-trial period you will be charged the price of $89.95. If for any reason Avesil is not for you, call Customer Care toll-free at 866-730-3330 within your 14-day free-trial period to cancel. Then simply return the product (even if it is empty!) and you will NEVER be billed. No commitments, no hassles.

Plus, if you decide to keep Avesil, you will receive FREE acceptance in Avesil Elite (as if it is some privilege to be ripped off by these guys through the autoship) and will receive a fresh supply of Avesil approximately every 30 days at the same low price of $89.95, a 22% discount. You can cancel anytime by calling Avesil Customer Care. No risk, no obligation, cancel any time!” (my boldings added)

I also was getting nervous two days out before my trial ended, that I could not reach anyone via website or phone. I finally located an email address, and sent one with the subject: Proof I am cancelling my free trial. They promptly emailed me back with acknowledgement and the return instructions. USE THIS EMAIL ADDRESS: customercare@avesil.com and be sure to tell them, “If I am charged anything else I am immediately contacting my bank to reverse the charges. I am also contacting the BBB.”

  • Simon says:

Here’s a simple tip from someone who has processed many disputes and fraud claims for merchants that supply “30 day risk free trials”. once you have ordered all your products from the trials, simply close your card as lost. Your bank will send you another card (hopefully they don’t charge, most don’t). That way, once they try and debit for auto shipping on the 14-15th day, they will be declined. it’s an effective way to get a bottle that costs whatever outrageous price they charge for only the shipping amount. I would still call and cancel over the phone and get a cancellation # just in case. Most companies won’t try to collect by other means, as they will just consider it a loss of a custmer. besides, they are making so much more money on all the other customers that don’t cancel their auto shipment =)

  • Satisfied Customer says:

I had no problem whatsoever cancelling mine. Someone answered the first time I called, all I said was I wanted to cancel, she said ok, and I got a confirmation email.

As for the timeline of the trial period, it is very clear on the website what that entails, one should always read everything, even the fine print, when it comes to these trials before they sign.
And I quote from their terms and conditions:” 14-day trial starts on order date. You must cancel before end of trial period and return trial supply (at your expense) to avoid product charge of $89.95 and continuation in our home delivery program. Beginning 30 days from order date and every 30 days thereafter, our home delivery program will send you a fresh supply of product for $89.95 plus $5.95 s/h per shipment, charged to same card you provide today.”

Also this site is inaccurate in the information of dosage, because it clearly states on the Avesil website (FAQs) and on the bottle to only take 2 pills a day not 6.

  • monaom says:

You actually don’t even get 14 days for the trial – the trial begins when you order. The product arrived 4 days later. 10 days isn’t long enough – I took the two capsules as suggested but no weight loss results. I did however develop a rash. I can’t say it was the Avecil, but it was the only thing new added to my diet. So I stopped using and returned the pills. You get the return number via the website – click at the bottom. As a poster mentioned above, when you try to cancel it offers you a reduced price of $75, and then when click again to cancel, it offers you the product for far less at $55. Knowing that, I felt like a real chump even considering the product at $90! Live and learn. I hope there’s no further problem with charges on my card, and that the skin condition clears up quickly. Yikes!
