You actually don’t even get 14 days for the trial – the trial begins when you order. The product arrived 4 days later. 10 days isn’t long enough – I took the two capsules as suggested but no weight loss results. I did however develop a rash. I can’t say it was the Avecil, but it was the only thing new added to my diet. So I stopped using and returned the pills. You get the return number via the website – click at the bottom. As a poster mentioned above, when you try to cancel it offers you a reduced price of $75, and then when click again to cancel, it offers you the product for far less at $55. Knowing that, I felt like a real chump even considering the product at $90! Live and learn. I hope there’s no further problem with charges on my card, and that the skin condition clears up quickly. Yikes!

I had no problem whatsoever cancelling mine. Someone answered the first time I called, all I said was I wanted to cancel, she said ok, and I got a confirmation email.

As for the timeline of the trial period, it is very clear on the website what that entails, one should always read everything, even the fine print, when it comes to these trials before they sign.
And I quote from their terms and conditions:” 14-day trial starts on order date. You must cancel before end of trial period and return trial supply (at your expense) to avoid product charge of $89.95 and continuation in our home delivery program. Beginning 30 days from order date and every 30 days thereafter, our home delivery program will send you a fresh supply of product for $89.95 plus $5.95 s/h per shipment, charged to same card you provide today.”

Also this site is inaccurate in the information of dosage, because it clearly states on the Avesil website (FAQs) and on the bottle to only take 2 pills a day not 6.

Here’s a simple tip from someone who has processed many disputes and fraud claims for merchants that supply “30 day risk free trials”. once you have ordered all your products from the trials, simply close your card as lost. Your bank will send you another card (hopefully they don’t charge, most don’t). That way, once they try and debit for auto shipping on the 14-15th day, they will be declined. it’s an effective way to get a bottle that costs whatever outrageous price they charge for only the shipping amount. I would still call and cancel over the phone and get a cancellation # just in case. Most companies won’t try to collect by other means, as they will just consider it a loss of a custmer. besides, they are making so much more money on all the other customers that don’t cancel their auto shipment =)

I also was getting nervous two days out before my trial ended, that I could not reach anyone via website or phone. I finally located an email address, and sent one with the subject: Proof I am cancelling my free trial. They promptly emailed me back with acknowledgement and the return instructions. USE THIS EMAIL ADDRESS: customercare@avesil.com and be sure to tell them, “If I am charged anything else I am immediately contacting my bank to reverse the charges. I am also contacting the BBB.”

This product is indeed a scam. They must pay people to write all the great reviews all over that you see because let me tell you this has been a nightmare.

1. I applied for the product on 3/26/2010
2. I didn’t receive it till 4/01/2010
3. The ’14 day free trial’ ended on 4/09/2010

This obviously is not a lot of time to try the product and supposedly send it back.. but anyway.

4. By 04/07/2010 I had GAINED 3 pounds.
5. I started calling to get the *RMA Code 4/7
6. No one answered. Left message.
7. Called back 6 times on the 7th. No answer.
8. Called back on the 8th.. see above.
9. Called back on the 9th.. see above.
10. The 9th passes and now I am ‘outside my trial period’ so I am out $90.

I am still trying to get someone on the phone to take this useless crap back. No one has yet called me back nor answered their phone. Do not be scammed! And if you feel sorry for me, feel free to toss me $3 via paypal at chelworks@gmail.com for saving you $90 Maybe I can get my money back heh.

its a mistake by me of agreeing the trial of 14days. But before trial end ,AVESIL already deducted my money for the next shipment, where by now i did not receive any of it. Please people dont buy from them, they are bogus! Or you can try buy from them if you don’t believe.
