I was a fool and got charged for their tea,i complained and demanded, they said will only refund when return the tea this was after i threatned too take to “WATCHDOG”!! Don’t be fooled but it like me an many others.:0(
I took the 14-day trial and then sent my request to cancel. I got a response a few days later acknowledging my cancellation. As I had signed up for something else at the same time that refused to cancel without me sending the product back (with loads of shipping charges at my end!) I had gone ahead and cancelled my credit card. This company may have tried again – don’t know. One thing is for sure, I will definitely NOT go through this process again.
I am one who has been scammed by this company.
I sent for the 14 day combo free trial and found within the 14 days that it was not for me so I emailed to cancel. The Pro Cleans was cancelled but I was sent another packet of Cho yung tea. I thought that I was safe as the credit card I used was I thought, safe as I only put enough money on it to cover my requirements. Unfortunately there was a £100 overdraught on the card that I had not been made aware of and the money was paid out. I tried to email Cho yung to ask for my money to be returned but my emails were being blocked so I tried the chat line and again I was blocked so I tried telephoning them. Each time I ‘phoned I had a voice say “receiver hung up”. I then sent off a letter but still no reply. I rang the bank and they said they would contact the fraud department. In the meantime the bank cancelled my card to prevent any more money being taken. I then had to wait for Cho yung to respond to the bank. Nothing happened and the bank say they can do nothing more about the loss of £54.50
I have since been able to get in to the Cho yung help line but they can not find any record of my account. They have since changed their web site and I find that I have been blocked from their help line as I am “not a member”
IF THIS IS NOT A SCAM THEN WHAT IS?
Hello , yes i too am having problems receiving a refund from this company who after cancelling promised a refund of for one packet of tea as i had left it too late in cancelling . I sent all the tea back by recorded delivery and know they have received them as i tracked it on royalmails website . It is now over a month i have been on the live chat also phoned them last week , just tried to get into there website but to no avail , but then if you say they have changed there website address then that’s why .
I emailed twice and messaged twice on Day 12 to cancel. It took them 12 days to respond and give me my cancellation number and only two days in which they had to receive the packet back and that was over the weekend so it was impossible. I have now been charged and I’m really not amused. I have emailed them and told them I will be taking the matter further.
I only found this website after I order the free trial ( a mere 10 minutes) I called my credit card co and alerted them to a possible fraud, my card had already been debited with the initial payment and 6 further attempts to obtain more money had been blocked by my credit card co. I now have the card blocked and am awaiting a new card. I feel very lucky to have found this site considering how many are online with such “glowing reports”
Consider yourself to be lucky one. You did the right job by blocking your card. You probably just lost about 5 bucks. When you buy online make sure that you buy the one with money back guarantee.Never accept free stuffs
Will they be able to try to chase the ‘bad debt’ from you if you cancel the card? At the end of the day, apparently they did say in their terms and conditions that they will charge you further as the ‘free trial’ is a hidden subscription!! URGH i am sooo annoyed by these scammers!
Just tell your CC company that your credit card info stolen online. Just ask them cancel it and request for new one. Your outstanding debt will be transferred to new credit card automatically. Of course, if you are closing down (I meaning canceling) your account then you’ll have to clear your debt first!
Getting a new credit card is the quick, easy and hassle free solution. Do it fast Lynn before they charge your card for next month’s supply
Credit card was cancelled as soon as I was aware that it was a scam.
The bank fraud department state that they will block any attempt to take money off my new card but can do nothing about the money already taken.I am thinking of taking this to the media. The FERRET may be interested in this case as so many have been scammed.
