Do Men Burn More Fat than Women?

It is true that men and women are different from each other biologically, including the way their hormones change in their bodies. Their bodies respond differently in a different way to the diet programs they choose. Researchers have found that women tend to gain weigh faster than men and it is easier for men to loose weight compared to women.

Sometimes it depends on what type of diet program you decide to use for losing weight. So ladies, you do not have to starve to compete with the men in shedding pounds. You don’t have to torture your body by not eating anything. Your meal should be filled with fiber rich food like vegetables and fruits. You can even eat chicken, but avoid eating it with the salad dressing, which has trans-fat in excess.

Follow the routine exercises that raise your heart rate on a regular basis including yoga, which will keep you active. Your activeness would keep you from repeating your past mistakes of eating un-healthy food items. If you want to lose several pounds in a short time, think about it again. The reduction in fab will continue as your metabolism continues burning the calories during those dieting days.

Also, becoming thin is the main reason behind heavy dieting among women. It is important that you understand your body before forcing yourself to lose extra pounds, which may increase the chances of you getting weak.

While dieting, some of the basic things that you can follow is that you need to eat 4 meals a day, drink a lot of water, cook your meals at home, change diets between protein and carb intake, reduce sugar intake, eat until satisfied but not full, and exercise as much as possible.

Some may recommend drinking a lot of water or unsweetened tea while you are on a diet. Water is a natural way to suppress your appetite and it is an important way to burn off the stored fat, leading to reduce weight. The standard recommendation is to drink water up to eight 8-oz glasses a day. But it depends on your weight as well and the amount of work or physical labor you do.

Another point I want highlight about women (I hope my wife won’t read it!)

Normally, women fall into advertising hype. They buy all those hocus-focus “latest weight loss” stuffs which appears on TV commercials and other advertising medias. For women, being overweight or obese is physically as well as emotionally challenging.
