Daily I get atleast 20 people searching for Lipozene / Lipocene / Lypozene diet pills. I don’t know whether they come here searching for reviews or to buy Lipozene. I am sure TV Commercials made them to search for Lipozene.
This made me to find out whose product Lipozene is, what this weight loss product is made of and How it works etc. But I could not contact anyone who has used Lypozene.
Who Is behind Lipozene?
The Obesity Research Institute, run by Henny Den Uijl and Bryan Corlett, is the maker of Lipozene. In 2005, the Federal Trade Commission fined these men and ORI $1.5 million for misleading claims about their fiber, weight loss products viz., FiberThin and Propolene.
Ingredients of Lipozene 1500 mg
Lipozene’s main ingredient is Propol, which is company’s trademarked name for glucomannan which is nothing but a soluble fiber found in konjac root.
Glucomannan is the Western name for vegetable fibers derived from an Asian plant family known as konjac.
How Glucomannan works?
According to a study done by the Rush University College of Nursing in Chicago in 2005 “Glucomannan may promote weight loss. At doses of 2-4 g per day, Glucomannan was well-olerated and resulted in significant weight loss in overweight and obese individuals”
According to Drug Digest “Glucomannan does not dissolve in water, but forms a thick, gooey gel when exposed to fluids. The body does not digest glucomannan, so the resulting large soft mass moves through the intestines and may trigger intestinal muscle contractions.”
Glucomannan Side Effects
According to Drug Digest “Glucomannan tablets are not recommended for oral use. Reportedly, several individuals experienced blockage of the esophagus when they took glucomannan in tablet form.”
User Feedback
All these frightened me and I started searching online for user feedback online in various forums and comments for different articles on Lipocene. Though most were negative, I got many positive comments also. Don’t know whether they are true or just spams.
Negative comments said ” It results in diarrhea and cramps, loss of sleep, vomiting etc”
But I could not contact anyone personally who has used Lypozene.
Buy lipocene?
Even after reading this if you want to go for lypozene it is your choice! Price $29.95 for one bottle ( there is buy one get one free offer)
But take plenty of water to minimize side effects.
Recommendation
I do not endorse lipozene whose main ingredient is fiber. Instead you have easier and cheaper ways to get fiber into your diet by consuming high fiber fruits, vegetables, legumes and grains.
But if you serious about losing weight you can go for anyone of the following weigh loss products which I think are fairly good and proved.

I was searching for liposen , and i found this site.
I was in India at an ayurvedic hospital and my husband treated his colesterol with liposen.
It really worked. I don’t know if it’s the same medicine, liposen /lipozen… may be not!

I bought this product, then read reviews…thats step1 of the problem, after reading the information, I got a glass opened the reccomended dose of 2 pills, and emptied the powder into the glass of water. I so wish I could put up a pic!!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, unless you want some gelatinous glob sitting in your stomach!!!! trust me buy the pills and do the same experiment!
I think you are missing the point about the product. That is why it works because if forms in your gut. I did the same test and beleive that is the reason why it works. However, you have to drink a ton of water.

I have taken Lipozene for sometime now, but I have had no side effects whatsoever. I usually take 4 per day. However, I haven’t lost any weight.
I bought this stuff when I was over in the States,
I live in Holland, I can’t buy it over here, that is a shame because it really worked, I felt better and really lost weight!!I just bought a bottle in the local supermarket!
I tried this product when it first came out in 06. IT REALLY WORKED. The only thing I did not like was the promotion was not true. They say you get a bottle free and then they charge you when it comes and then they keep sending bottles that you did not ask for. I did not kick up alot of fuss because it worked really good, but i was also watching what I ate and being a little more active. Oh and the thing about cramps is true, once you take it drink plenty of water so you wont have any because if you dont you will be on somebody’s toilet praying that it stops lol! So if you want to try it i say definitely do!!!
oh and also it tells you on the bottle to drink plenty of water with the pills. i have read reviews where people are talking about cramping. I admit my stomach cramped at first pretty bad but once i incorporated water in my diet, it was soooo much better. I really think if you drink water, slow down on your eating/be more active, and take it 30 mins before a meal you will lose alot of weight/inches.
I have used lipozene for about 2 months and have had no side effects. The side effects are not always common and you get side effects with any medication. I have lost close to 15 pounds and have not changed a thing. I still eat the same foods and my only exercise is chasing after my 4 kids. The only thing I changed was more water and how much food I ate. Just like any medication some people have great results while others do not.
If it wasn’t so sad it would be funny……
There is no short cut to fat loss……. Start dieting and get some exercise.
Remember the scam a number of years ago when the gullible were sucked into buying cream to rub on their legs to rid themselves of cellulite? That also was advertised with a money back “promise” if it didn’t work….. Where is that product today?
To me this looks like an advert for ‘Proacol’ and ‘Fat Loss 4 Idiots’.

Funny how this article states Lipozene doesn’t work but they can prove others do………Sounds like another slam of one company to hock their preferred products. I would go to the Lipozene site, try it or get your money back. Be you’re own judge
Be careful. If not swallowed with lots of water – I mean lots of water, it can get lodged in you esophugus before making it to your stomach. It took almost a week before I am feeling better. If you put it in a glass you can see it get stuck to the side. I finally found I had to lay down and drink big gulps of water to dislodge it. Very painful and scary. No way am I taking another one of these pills. And yes I did drink alot of water to take these pills.
I have just started taking Lipozene and this is the first time I have chosen to take a pill to help with my dieting. I hope it works and I have read through the other comments and seen that it has for some and has not for others. I hope to be one that can say it does help. Other wise I think I will be upset for wasting my money.
hi ive been using the product lipozene n i love it ive lost weight i am so happy i got this product..i bought the buy one get one free offer with a bottle of the MetaboUp for the metabolism….im able to work out with energy that doesnt make me all jittery…..of course im hopeing u donot think if u take the pill n just sit there it will take the fat away..u have to exercise with almost every pill out there but if u do not want to take the pill the my advise to you froom me from my trainer is cut out all sugar drink s n drink water (add flavor which is sugar free) do at least 50 crunches (as many sets of 50 as you can) and also take fast walks every day(DO NOT run or job just fastwalk)plus if you go onto youtube u will find alot of workout videos the one i like best is this one woman shes freakin awesome!! >> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXQhHg53FLg (highlight copy n past into the web browser n just like and save under workout videos under ther video.. keep me posted on ur progress much luck n Blessed Be Trish

I was wondering if anyone had problems with their heart after starting on this medicine? I started taking it about 4 months ago and wondered if anyone has had any problems? I had medical testing done in Dec of 2010 but was just recently hospitalized for heart proble,\ms. I was checking to see if anyone had issues with their heart after starting on this diet pill?
the lipozene has caffeine in it so while on this do not drink n e thing with caffeine….
I decided to purchase it after having to lose weight due to Prednisone weight. The first bottle I didn’t see any results but continued to take it. Just 2 days into the second bottle…IT WORKS. I feel lighter, and am able to rid my body of waste. I have crohns disease and I had build up. I know I have lost probably 10 lbs but I have not weighted yet. I take 2 in the morning, then wait a half an hour and eat a light breakfast such as toast and a juice or water. I drink a whole bottle. I eat light for lunch, then I take 2 more pills in the evening a half an hour before dinner. I believe if I stay with it, I can lose my weight. I got mine at Wal-Mart and only had to pay$19.98. Didn’t have any shipping costs. Still got the same as on TV…buy one get one free. Going back tomorrow to purchase another round. For me, it works.
You can also buy glucomannon at any health food store. This is beneficial if you’re wanting to avoid excess caffeine.

I took the two pills it said to take and that night my back started to hurt really bad, the next morning i couldnt get out of bed and my husband had to lifted me up, the pain stayed for 3 days and I had to lay on a heating pad and it was bad.
