Metabolife is a well known brand of diet pill in the US with a notorious history. Originally it was an ephedra based supplement. But after the ban of Ephedra, it is available in few ephedra free versions.
History
Metabolife International, Inc, the company behind the notorious Metabolife 356 ephedra based diet pill and its founder Michael Ellis were convicted for making false statements to the FDA on the adverse effects of the pill and for income tax evasion.
Though Metabolife 356 with ephedra was a big hit on the US diet pill market which generated billions of dollars in annual sales, the side effects reported by users were horrifying and even many users died due those ephedra based pills. This made FDA to ban ephedra based diet supplements.
The company as well as the owner of the company were fined millions of dollars for lying with FDA and for tax evasion. They were facing more than $1 billion in personal injury legal claims related to Metabolife 356 which finally made them to file for bankruptcy and liquidate the company.
Later it was acquired by Ideasphere Inc, a New York based company which is now selling ephedra free diet pills under the brand Metabolife. (source: wikipedia.org)

Nice post! I agree with weight loss and being healthy. Weight loss will control many things such as hypertension, cholesterol, and blood sugar levels. Many people need help though in losing weight and there are alot of good natural weight loss supplements available.
